Samurai Champloo - People (21)
Once Jin gets to know Mugen and Fuu a bit better, he actually lets his hair down a bit. Well, ok, not down down, but he does indulge in a pout or grimace or two of his own. The only distraction on this interesting page of sketches is that in the center top. The way his tendrils of fine hair converge at that angle really looked like one of those "glasses-holder" necklaces. How...unsuitable! It looks even more like that in the sketch to the right. After examining the sheet a bit more closely, though, I realized that this particular shot must have been cut off a previous sheet and glued or otherwise fastened on. The lines are photocopy artifact left over from that. (Thank goodness! Jin as a little old lady just wasn't computing for me!)
